Pop-Up Exhibition for Empathetic Conversation
BLABLAB is a pop-up exhibition that addresses the challenges we have during conversations with our friends, and discusses how to become better support systems for them.
When’s the last time you thought about how you talked to other people?
Inspired by our own lack of awareness about how we converse with others, we designed an exciting set of activities that is intended to help people be more introspective about their conversational habits. These activities lived in a pop-up exhibition on The Cut on campus on May 2018. Students who come by get a chance to practice communication skills and take away a collection of helpful reminders that accompany each activity.
Who is it for?
CMU students who want to be better support systems for their friends, and want to improve their bad habits when it comes to conversing with others; also, CMU students who want to be more aware of their conversational habits
